Know your checkout still works, not just that your website is up

Describe a customer journey in plain English. An AI agent opens a real browser, clicks through it the way a customer would, and tells you when a step stops working. No scripts, no recorded selectors to maintain.

* See pricing for the plans that include AI monitors

A page can answer 200 and still lose you every sale

  • Catch the breaks uptime checks miss

A payment script that fails to load, a login form that rejects every password, a signup button hidden behind a cookie banner. The server is up the whole time, so an uptime monitor stays green.

  • Write steps, not code

Say what a customer does: open the shop, add a product, go to checkout. The agent finds the buttons and fields by their text on each run, so a moved button or a new layout does not break the check the way it breaks a recorded script.

  • See exactly where it failed

Every run keeps a step-by-step log in plain English and a screenshot, so you can see which step broke and what the agent saw without trying the journey yourself.

  • Every run, step by step

Each AI monitor keeps a history of its runs. Open one and you see what the agent did, where it stopped and why, in plain English.

    Passed, Failed or Error

A clear result for every run, with its start time and how long it took.

    The agent's steps

Each page it opened, each button it clicked and each field it typed into, by the label on the page.

The page as the agent saw it, so you do not have to reproduce the failure yourself.

Monitor marked Offline Alert sent to Slack and email

"Pulsetic made monitoring something I barely think about anymore. The interface is clean and the tracking is real-time, so I can glance at my site’s performance and get back to work."

Koen Kanters

"Pulsetic is easy-to-use and simple to get started. As an agency, I like that it includes unlimited status pages, because I can create one for each of my clients. Pulsetic includes every alert channel that I want, and advanced settings that give me greater confidence in the uptime. I can require that a response include certain text and respond within a certain timeframe in order for a site to be considered online. This gives me assurance that we would be notified if there were major performance issues or a bad deployment that made the site unusable. These features come with every paid plan, so our monthly bill is predictable. The API is a huge bonus on the teams plan. We have used it to add maintenance windows for certain monitors automatically based on events that happen in other software we use."

"Pulsetic’s monitoring is easy to set up via their super clean, user-friendly UI. I was up and running within only a few minutes. A helpful knowledge base is available for webmasters to refer to if needed. Pulsetic’s pricing is also some of the most competitive in the industry. I highly recommend them for emerging and established agencies alike."

"Pulsetic cut down our uptime monitoring work a lot. We automated uptime tracking and SLA reporting, which took a chunk of manual effort out of our monthly and annual reports. The Slack and email alerts let the team jump on problems quickly, and the API is what really sold us, since we point a dedicated health-check endpoint at it and pull uptime data straight into our internal workflows."

How it works

  • 1Describe the journey

Give the monitor a name, a starting URL and a prompt of up to 250 characters, written as numbered steps. You confirm you own the website or have permission to test it.

  • 2Test it

Run a test from the monitor's settings and follow the agent step by step until it finishes. Unsaved edits to the prompt are included, so you can tighten it until it passes.

  • 3Pick a schedule

Choose a schedule from every 30 minutes to once a month. Your plan sets the fastest. Scheduled runs use your monthly allowance, and you are alerted when the journey fails.

  • A prompt is a short list of steps

One action per step, the exact text of each button in quotes, and a last line that says what success looks like. This is the checkout example from the dashboard.

What teams check with AI monitors

Seven journeys, each with a prompt you can paste into a new monitor and adjust to your own labels. Every one uses test data and stops before anything that cannot be undone.

    Prompt

    1. Open the first product.
    2. Click “Add to cart”.

    178 / 250 characters

    What it catches

A pricing or promotions update that stops codes applying, or a cart that empties itself.

    Before you add it

Use a code made for testing, with no usage limit, so the check never uses up a real promotion.

    Login SaaS apps

    https://app.example.com/login

    Prompt

    1. Type “monitor@example.com” into “Email”.

    3. Click “Sign in”.
    4. Confirm the page shows “Dashboard”.

    148 / 250 characters

    What it catches

A sign-in form that rejects valid passwords, a sign-in provider outage, or a dashboard that never loads after sign-in.

    Before you add it

Use an account made only for monitoring, without two-factor sign-in. Never a real customer’s password.

    Signup SaaS apps

    Starting URL

    https://example.com

    Prompt

    1. Click “Start free trial”.

    3. Click “Continue”.
    4. Confirm the next page asks for a password. Stop there.

    158 / 250 characters

    What it catches

A trial button that goes nowhere, a form script that fails to load, or an email field that rejects valid addresses.

    Before you add it

Stop before the account is created, so the runs leave nothing behind in your user list.

    Pricing page Marketing websites

    Name

    Pricing page

    Starting URL

    https://example.com/pricing

    Prompt

    1. Confirm the page shows “Pro” and “$29”.

    3. Confirm the Pro price changes.
    4. Click “Start free trial”.
    5. Confirm a signup form opens.

    156 / 250 characters

    What it catches

A content edit that publishes the wrong price, a yearly toggle that stops working, or a buy button that goes nowhere.

    Before you add it

Quote prices exactly as the page shows them, and update the prompt when your pricing changes.

    Contact forms Agencies and B2B

    Name

    Contact form

    Starting URL

    https://example.com/contact

    Prompt

    4. Click “Send”.
    5. Confirm the page shows “Thanks for your message”.

    207 / 250 characters

    What it catches

A form that errors or never confirms, often after a plugin or spam filter update.

    Before you add it

Each run sends a real message, so use an address your team can filter out of the inbox or CRM.

    Bookings Clinics, restaurants and rentals

    Name

    Booking

    Starting URL

    https://example.com/book

    Prompt

    1. Click “Book now”.
    2. Pick the first available date.
    3. Pick the first available time.
    4. Click “Continue”.
    5. Confirm a form asks for your details. Do not book.

    163 / 250 characters

    What it catches

A calendar that shows no free slots, or a booking widget from another provider that fails to load.

    Before you add it

Stop before the booking is confirmed, so no real slot is ever taken.

FAQ: AI Monitoring

  • What is AI monitoring?

An AI monitor checks a user journey rather than a single URL. An AI agent opens a real browser on your website and follows the steps you describe in plain English, such as adding a product to the cart and reaching the payment step. If the journey cannot be completed, the run fails and you are alerted. An uptime monitor tells you the server answered; an AI monitor tells you a customer could actually get through.

  • Do I need to write code or record a script?

No. There is no Playwright or Selenium code to maintain and no recorded selectors that break when a button moves. You write the steps as a numbered list, up to 250 characters, and the agent works out where to click and what to type on each run.

  • How do I get AI monitors?

AI monitors come with a Pulsetic subscription, and each plan that includes them comes with a number of runs a month. The pricing page lists which plans include them and how many runs each one gets.

  • What happens when I run out of runs?

Scheduled runs count toward your plan's monthly allowance, and the details of each run show whether it counted. Once the allowance is used up, your AI monitors stop running until it renews, unless you buy more runs from your account, which you can do at any time.

  • How often can an AI monitor run?

As often as every 30 minutes, and as rarely as once a month, with hourly, daily, every 2 or 3 days and weekly in between. Your plan sets the fastest schedule you can pick. Each run uses your monthly allowance, so the schedule you pick also decides how long the allowance lasts.

  • How will I be alerted?

By email, by SMS or phone call (sent by Pulsetic or through your own Twilio account), or on Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Mattermost, a webhook or SIGNL4: 12 channels in all. Pulsetic alerts you when a journey fails and again when it passes once more.

  • What makes a good prompt?

Number the steps and give each one action. Quote the exact text of buttons, links and fields, such as "Add to cart", and end with what must be true for the check to pass. Use test data only, never a real password or card number, and stop before anything irreversible, like placing a real order. The dashboard shows a worked example you can start from.

  • Can AI monitors appear on my status page?

No. AI monitors are for your team, so they are not shown on public status pages. Your uptime monitors can appear there as usual.

  • Hear about a broken journey from Pulsetic, not a customer.
