Summary
Description Between 15:34 and 19:30 IST (10:04 to 14:00 UTC), some users in our EU region saw intermittent errors. Some requests hung for up to two minutes and then failed. About 9% of EU requests were affected, and the rest worked normally, which is why retries sometimes worked and sometimes didn’t. One of our EU instances stopped completing its calls to two internal services: one checks user permissions and the other loads account configuration. That instance kept passing our automated health checks, so it stayed in service, and no alert went out. No data was lost or changed. Fix We replaced the affected instance. Errors stopped right away, and service has been stable since.
